HOW DO I BUY A PRODUCT ON LINE?
Really easy : go to the Shop page , where you'll find all the categories. Choose a category, for example Gothic Bags, you can then browse further, exploring each division. When you like to buy an item, simply click on it. You will see next to it an "add to basket" icon. This will put the item of your choice in your shopping basket. Either continue shopping or proceed to checkout, where you will be directed to an on line secured payment page. At any point, you can always check your shopping basket by clicking on the basket icon.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
There are three ways to pay (you can make your choice once you have chosen "checkout") :
1 : We accept all major credit and debit cards as payment, using the Nochex secure system,
and if you want your order quickly, then this is the best way to buy.
Your transaction will appear on your bank statements as "Nochex", NOT "Realm of Shadows". and not as your company name
2 : If you do not have a credit or debit card, simply register with PayPal, set up an account,
and the money can easily be transferred. Signing up for a PayPal account is free and there's no charge to send money.
3 : If you hate online payment, for whatever reason, you can always send a cheque, after an email.
We can only send your order once your cheque is cashed in and we have the money.
Once you are in checkout, you will see the "Send Payment by Post" option.
WHY CAN'T I SEE ANOTHER CURRENCY THAN BRITISH POUNDS?

IS MY PAYMENT SECURE?

DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE VAT?
VAT is “Value Added Tax”; this tax runs at 15% of the value of goods. The good news is, that as opposed to other web shops, we do NOT charge you VAT. The only obvious extra cost you pay, is the packaging and shipping costs (calculated for what we get charged from the wholesaler and what we have to pay to dispatch it to you).
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING / PACKAGING?
Minimum order is £10.

Postage + packaging is calculated per Kg, at £3.65. Unfortunately we have to charge you for this, mainly because posting and packaging costs money too. Mailed within the UK will either be sent Royal Mail First Class Recorded (Signed For), which means someone has to be in to sign.That way your delivery is ensured and traceable. Or you pick the cheaper and second option, Second Class.
Large heavy orders may be dispatched via courier, the price of the shipment depends on the weight, we will contact you.

HOW LONG TILL I HAVE MY DELIVERY?
For shipment we use the Royal Mail.
Please be patient with your order, when we don't have it in stock and need to order it from the supplier.
If the item you order is available in our stock, you will usually have it within 5 days.
This simply depends on the postal service, on our stock and the weight of what you ordered.
If you leave us a valid email address, you always will be kept updated on the process of your order.
ARE THE PRODUCTS DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE IN STOCK?
Everything on our website should be in stock. If not, you will be notified immediately.
It is our policy to satisfy your needs, and suggestions are always welcome.
WHAT IF AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK?
No worries.
Best thing to do if you have put your mind on it, is mail us and state which product it is (please make sure you describe the item and mention in which category it is displayed). The item you desire will be re-ordered and send to you as soon as possible.
HOW WILL MY ORDER BE PACKED?
Most of our gifts lines are individually boxed, however some are packed in inner carton, some bubble wrapped.
The costs for the packaging is the extra you pay for shipping.
WHAT ABOUT BREAKAGES OR DAMAGED ITEMS?
We sell gift ware, so it is inevitable that the odd piece of merchandise can get broken in transit. If this happens please email us and you either choose another product of the same value or get a refund. It is advisable you take a picture of the damage when you unpack your gift and mail this to us.
We recommend that for certain fragile merchandise - such as goblets and canes or any other products made from resin - you email us. It has happened more than once that the Royal Mail, who uses Parcelforce as courier, delivers parcels and the product is damaged due to the way the couriers handles the package (they don't give a damn what's in there, they just do their job and transport). This is not our fault as you understand! So it's advisable you opt for save delivery via an independent courier (prices may differ).
WHAT IF I DON'T FIND WHAT I WANT?
Please do send an email if that is the case. We are a new website and will be continuously updating our products and will keep expanding our resources.
IS THERE A NEWSLETTER?
Not any more. We used to do one, but most people delete a newsletter from their mailbox anyway, so we don't see the point.
