NEWS Stress, Stock and Suppliers! (November 26, 2007) After each fair we attend, certain products are sold out. We come back home, completely knackered and have to update this website to make sure those products aren't visible anymore! If between our rest and this updating process, somebody orders a product which we no longer have, now that's a good definition of stress (and embarrassment too of course). Apologies !!
Please, customers, don't hesitate to mail us!
Realm of Shadows works with several suppliers. Some provide excellent service, others tend to linger about with deliveries. The thing is, all of them have such nice things!
Because we have a stock problem, we use a system called "drop-shipping" for, let's say, half of what you see on the shop page. Drop-shipping means, you order with us, the order is forwarded to the supplier who has a huge warehouse and he sends it to you.
Unfortunately we have experienced more than one problem with one (only one, phew) of these suppliers. Which is why we have deleted - for the time being - the tapestries category, and several other products in the shop in different categories.
When a supplier puts products on his/her site, the idea is a customer gets it. If we get a mail by the supplier saying they don't have the product, what kind of service is that?
Hence, new and better tapestries will be on the shop in the future... from another supplier!
In short, dear reader, just keep checking every month what updates we provide. The best page for that is the what's new ? page. And thanks very much mum-in-law for offering your garage!
